- Emiliano Zapata was born August 8th, 1879 in the village of Anenecuilco. In 1909 at thirty years old Zapata was chosen to visit the Governor of Morelos to try to reclaim the land taken by a local hacienda. Zapata was refused and sent home. He expressed how unhappy he was about it and President Diaz put him in danger. After he rescues a prisoner from the militia, he becomes an outlaw
